The top tower section was delivered.The three blades got to Connecticut and had to wait until Tuesday January 27 to finish their move to the site due to restrictions on moving 'super loads' over CT highways Friday through Monday. The two remaining tower sections will arrive at Quonset Point, separately the weeks of Janaury 26 and February 2 and be staged for barge transport to Aquidneck Island. The final piece of electrical equipment, the 'recloser', required by the interconnect agreement with National Grid, is expected to arrive on February 3. The final major component, the Nacelle (that houses the main gnerator), is due to arrive Quonset about February 9. Power generation is expected on or about February 16, 2009.
