The project is a testimony to the people of Portsmouth and their commitment to helping our State meet its clean energy goals while providing revenue to the town. Most importantly, this project would not have happened without the hard work and dedication of the Portsmouth Economic Development Committee, Chaired by Rich Talipsky, and the PEDC Sustainable Energy Subcommittee led by Gary Gump and members Doug Smith, Bob Hamilton and Rich and the cooperation of the School Department and Town Officials. We look forward to the culmination of our partnership with the manufacturer, AAER of Canada, when our Wind Turbine Generator starts spinning atop ‘windmill hill” in Portsmouth a few weeks from now.” .
